Seeing severe performance overhead and potentially repeated long harvest durations.
Below are a few known related symptoms:
• High new metric load
• Slowness in WebView and TeamCenter
• Repeated agent/workstation/WebView/EM disconnections.
All APM 10.x releases. Cases reported so far include APM 10.2 & 10.3.
In some scenarios, DEBUG logging on EM can cause severe performance overhead and potentially repeated long harvest durations.
EM logs become flooded with DEBUG messages within the same second.
To work around, disable DEBUG logging on the EM.
Keep in mind that Support may ask you to enable DEBUG while troubleshooting an issue. If you have experienced overhead previously with DEBUG on, inform the Engineer of this.
