PASSWORD REQUIRED error message when maintaining a CA Datadictionary occurrence

Introduction:

While trying to maintain an CA Datadictionary entity occurrence, an error is returned, when using a batch DDUPDATE:

DDPPWR0001 PASSWORD REQUIRED

or modifying the occurrence online (via DDOL):

DDOL000248A - PASSWORD REQUIRED FOR MAINTENANCE – PWR

How can this password be found?

Background:

Occurrences of CA Datadictionary entities can be protected against unauthorized maintenance adding a password. This password is stored in CA Datadictionary itself

Instructions:

The password can be found running a CA Datadictionary Index report, using either DDUPDATE or DDUTILTY program and specifying the following input card:

-RPT INDEX,entity-type,entity-occurrence(nnn,ovd)

The above override code (ovd) is the one specified in OVRIDE parameter of DDSYSTBL macro, which is assembled during CA Datacom installation to create DDSRTLM module.
