Question:
Our Spectroserver on 10.2. is crashing shortly after startup with LLDP related errors in the stack output- What can we do about this

Answer:
A problem has been identified relating to LLDP where the following errors are seen in the GDB trace:

(gdb) Where
#0  0x00007fef389d649e in IHLldpNeighbors::resolveNeighborDev(CsModelHandle const&, lldpNeighborNode const&, InternetAddress const&) ()
   from /opt/SPECTRUM/lib/../SS/libadcor.so.1
#1  0x00007fef389d6c29 in IHLldpNeighbors::getNeighbors(CsModelHandle const&, CsModelHandle const&) () from /opt/SPECTRUM/lib/../SS/libadcor.so.1
#2  0x00007fef389d87e2 in IHLldpNeighbors::action_triggered(CsModelHandle const&, CsModelHandle const&, CsAction const*) ()
   from /opt/SPECTRUM/lib/../SS/libadcor.so.1

The following patch Spectrum_10.02.03.D351 has been produced to help with this problem.
Please open a case with support to request the patch be made available.
As a temporary workaround you can set VNM model > Information tab > Autodiscovery Control > Modeling and Protocol options > Discovery Protocol Tables to “no”
