Question:

What is the correct order of running database scripts when you are installing CA Strong Authentication and CA Risk Authentication?

Environment:
CA Strong Authentication and CA Risk Authentication 8.x on a supported environment
Answer:

If you have both CA Strong Authentication and CA Risk Authentication installed, below is the database scripts running order.
[Installation Order]
1. Run arcot-db-config-for-common-8.x.sql
2. Run arcot-db-config-for-riskfort-8.x.sql and arcot-db-config-for-webfort-8.x.sql in any order.

[Uninstallation Order]
1. Run drop-riskfort-8.x.sql or drop-webfort-8.2.sql in any order.
2. Run drop-arcot-common-8.x.sql.

As Risk Authentication and Strong Authentication scripts are dependent on the Common scripts, you can not run any of these partially. You must follow the orders completely.

NOTE: If you are installing both CA Strong Authentication and CA Risk Authentication, you need to run arcot-db-config-for-common-8.x.sql only once.
