After a fresh installation of eHealth 6.3.2.09 on Win2012, the following error was received when attempting to start the "eHealth63" service:
ORA-125577: TNS: protocol adapter not loadable
eHealth 6.3.2.09 on Windows 2012
The $ORACLE_HOME variable was still there, and wasn't removed by the installation.
Removing the $ORACLE_HOME variable, while leaving the $NH_ORACLE_HOME variable, and rebooting, resolves this issue, and eHealth will then startup.
This was not a failed installation. The installation went ok, and then the customer renamed the system, which is when it was discovered that $ORACLE_HOME was still listed as a variable on the system
