Issue:
     Messages such as...

Description: '/opt/asm/smartpop/bin/rbtm.sh' failed with exit status (1) -- rbtm2 is NOT running.

...are appearing either as alerts from Monit or in the /var/log/messages file. The messages log contains further clarification indicating that no such container exists. For example:

"level=error msg="Handler for POST /v1.24/containers/rbtm2/start returned error: No such container: rbtm2"
.
This error can occur for a "jmeter" process or "rbtm" process.

Cause:

After installing an On Premise Monitoring Station (OPMS), a number of Docker containers are created. These containers are used to run RBM and Script monitors. By default, a JMeter Docker container is created as well as several RBTM Docker containers. (The number of RBTM Docker containers created is dependent on OS resources available during install.) These containers can be listed using the command "docker ps -a". Should one these containers be deleted, then no such container error will be thrown.
Resolution:
To correct this issue, CA Technologies recommends re-running the latest version of the OPMS installer. The installer can be obtained from: https://asm.ca.com/en/products/downloads. Once downloaded, re-run the installer and the packages responsible for creating these Docker containers will be reinstalled.
