CA Spectrum Online Backup Fails with RCPD Error

Issue:
CA Spectrum Online Backup Fails and you may see the following in the <SPECROOT>/SS/RCPD.OUT file on the primary SpectroSERVER:
 
Retrying connection to remote rcpd after 15 seconds...
Retrying connection to remote rcpd after 15 seconds...
Unable to connect to remote rcpd.  Exiting! 
Final status is -1

You may also see the following in the <SPECROOT>/SS/RCPD.OUT file on the secondary SpectroSERVER:

Waited for 3 minutes but did not accept a connection from the primary rcpd.
Environment:
CA Spectrum 10.2.0
CA Spectrum 10.2.1
CA Spectrum 10.2.2
CA Spectrum 10.2.3
Resolution:
For Windows systems, ensure that the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file on both the primary and secondary SpectroSERVER's is configured similar to the below:

<PRIMARY_SS_IP_ADDRESS> <PRIMARY_FQDN> <HOSTNAME>
<SECONDARY_SS_IP_ADDRESS> <SECONDARY_FQDN> <HOSTNAME>

For Linux systems, ensure that the \etc\hosts file on both the primary and secondary SpectroSERVER's is configured similar to the below:

<PRIMARY_SS_IP_ADDRESS> <PRIMARY_FQDN> <HOSTNAME>
<SECONDARY_SS_IP_ADDRESS> <SECONDARY_FQDN> <HOSTNAME>

Also, please make sure the following ports are open between the Primary and Secondary SpectroSERVER's:

65259
61904
51966
