OneClick users are not populating in CABI

Issue: 

Oneclick users are missing under CABI, even if integration is in place and working properly.

 

Resolution: 

To repopulate the users in CABI, we need to delete all the users under boxi_user_sync table and recycle the Spectrum Tomcat Server. 

 

Windows:

1. Open a command prompt window and run:

Start -> Run -> cmd

bash -l

cd mysql/bin

./mysql -uroot -proot reporting;

tee c:/boxi_user_sync_backup.txt;

select * from boxi_user_sync;

notee

(Above steps will store the contents of the boxi_user_sync table to C:\boxi_user_sync_backup.txt file)

2. Truncate boxi_user_sync;

(Above command will delete all the records in the table)

3. Open Services windows (Start -> run -> services.msc) and do the following:

select spectrum tomcat service 

4. click on restart

 

Unix:

1. cd $SPECROOT

cd mysql/bin

./mysql --defaults-file=../my-spectrum.cnf -uroot -proot reporting;

tee /tmp/boxi_user_sync_backup.txt;

select * from boxi_user_sync;

notee

(Above steps will store the contents of the boxi_user_sync table to /tmp/boxi_user_sync_backup.txt file)

2. Truncate boxi_user_sync;

(Above command will delete all the records in the table)

3. Exit (to come out of the mysql login)

4. On Solaris or Linux, log in as root and run the following:

cd $SPECROOT/tomcat/bin

./stopTomcat.sh

./startTomcat.sh

5. Wait for an hour and check whether the users are populated or not.
