On the upper limit of Role of API Portal

Question:

 

We want to create custom role.

It seems it can be created in "Create New Role" of CMS.

Does API Portal have limit number of role?

Answer:

 

There is not a limit to the number of roles on the API Portal.

But, manually creating roles is not supported as it could result in unforeseen behavior. 

Customer can create a new role in CMS but that role has no particular set of permissions assigned to it. 

The permissions are hard-coded to the other roles that pre-exist for internal and external.
