NPD content Add-in installation in Clarity
What are the prerequisites to apply NPD content Add-in in any Environment?
Go to support.ca.com and open a case
If case is opened on behalf of client then an approval email from the client is needed.
· Provide environment URL where the NPD content Add-in needs to be applied
CA PPM team require 48 hours of lead time and 4-6 hours of downtime to apply and verify the NPD content in an environment
Additional Information: Applying add-ins may/may not impact the custom views and configurations and CA does not have a documentation explaining what all will be impacted for each add-in. The recommendation is to apply this in a non-prod environment first, check the items in the content add-in which are getting upgraded (especially views) and validate them in the application to see if there is any change to it.
