Detailed Description and Symptoms

A new remote agent installation has the status as Srvc_Down.

Investigation

The following error is found in the $AW_HOME/log/AgentService.log:

ERR27 15:57:21-The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2)(2:2) ERR27 15:57:21-Exiting with error.


Solution

There is an absence (or incorrect version) of Java on the Agent machine. 
Install a current, supported version of Java on the Agent machine and restart the Agent processes.
