I am planning to do a new installation of EEM, WAAE, and WCC on two Windows servers. WAAE will be installed, by itself, on one server and EEM and WCC will be installed on the other server. I have a SQL Server 2014 DB installed on a separate server and I would like to know what I need to do to configure the database to my new installations.
All Supported Windows OS
All Compatible Microsoft SQL Server Databases
Assuming that both Autosys and WCC will be using the SQL Server database:
1. Make sure you have a 32-bit SQL Server client installed on the Autosys server.
2. Make sure the database instance exists in SQL Server before installing Autosys.
The Autosys database is created at the time of installation.
EEM uses its own internal database and does not use nor require an external database such as SQL Server.
1. WCC uses internal JDBC drivers to connect to the database. You can install a client but it is not required.
2. Make sure the database exists within the database instance in SQL Server before installing WCC.
The WCC database is created at the time of installation.
