Issue
System Status Page shows the the System Array is in a 'Degraded' state
Environment:
CentOS 5.X or 6.X
Cause:
Generally, this is caused by some kind of integrity/hardware issue on the array. We have also seen the issue occur, seemingly, at random.
Resolution:
1) Using the arcconf utility, verify all drives are functioning properly.
/usr/StorMan/arcconf GETCONFIG 1 AL
2) If you are seeing any type of error in this log, you are most likely experiencing an issue with the hardware and should open a ticket with CA Support for a potential repair / replacement
3) Once you have verified all drives and controllers are working, if the issue still exists, perform a RESCAN of the array.
/usr/StorMan/arcconf RESCAN 1
