     Question:

How can APM Introscope be used to monitor JavaScript or Ajax exceptions ?

     Answer:

CA APM is a terrific tool to capture and monitor metrics. However, out-of-the-box, it cannot monitor anything, unless some extra configuration is made.

In this case, since the EPAgent is very flexible, it can be customized to obtain the desired result. This can be accomplished with Java or Python programming.

For some examples, see these links: Java  or Python.

EPAgent needs to be installed on the servers on which the JavaScript or Ajax will be monitored and once it is customized properly, then the information on the

exceptions will be sent to Introscope.
