SLA defined for a monthly calculation period. On the 12th of current month, this SLA was modified to add an exclude period and the change was saved. When looking at the individual metrics for the SLOs defined in the SLA, there are no entries for metrics collected prior to the 12th.
What is the best way to recover this data?
UIM/UMP 8.51 but is applicable to any currently supported UIM release.
If the QoS metrics were collected by the probe from the beginning of the month, the values can be recovered as follows:
1. For the problematic SLA report, select the Recalculate option from the option list
2. On the Job Properties dialogue, select the Fixed Report option, then select the report period(s) to recalculate
3. Select the Create historic data option
4. Select the Ok button to submit the job
If the QoS metrics were not collected prior to the date where the data is missing (typically because the profile did not exist or was deactivated), then there is no way to manually insert the missing QoS metrics. The current monthly report will be built with the missing days. Future monthly reports will contain the QoS metrics for all days in the SLA calculation period.
