Maxed Out Number of Connection Attempts to the Job Status Console

There are users that see the following error when trying to access the Job Status Console (JSC):



CA Workload Control Center r11.3 SP1

The maximum number of JSC connection attempts has been exhausted. The default value and maximum number of attempts is 100.




You can configure the JSC to make an unlimited amount of connection attempts by configuring the Maximum Retries parameter to -1.




To set this parameter, do the following: 

1. Login to the WCC GUI

2. Click on the CONFIG tab

3. Under the Preferences heading, select Job Status Console, then click Go

4. Change the current value of the Maximum Retries parameter to -1, then click Save
