lync_monitor probe causes data_engine to stop processing

Issue:
While deploying the lync_monitor probe on UIM we observed our SQL server crashed.

In investigating it further we noticed that the data_engine queue in the hub stops processing every time we attempt to activate the lync_monitor probe.
Cause:
The data_engine might time out during QOS creation due to the high number of information being inserted in the database. This is especially true if the database server is under performing.
Resolution:
Please contact CA Support for an updated version of the data_engine probe and instructions to create a timeout parameter.
