CA Workload Automation DE Licensing

License File

After receipt of your license file (ca.olf), you will need to place it into the proper directory to license the product

  • Windows: C:\CA_LIC or C:\Program Files\CA\SharedComponents\CA_LIC

  • Unix/Linux: /opt/CA/ca_lic or /opt/CA/SharedComponents/ca_lic

The license files for any version should be obtained from the CA Licensing group by opening a request via https://catech.force.com/customer/CustomerCareForm

How to apply the ca.olf License file

What if you do not have a ca_lic directory?

Run the <dSerires installation directory>\ca_license_bin\ca_lic_ia_install.bat (or ca_lic_ia_install.sh)

This batch (script) file creates the program files \CA\SharedComponents\CA_LIC (or /ca_lic) directory.

Then copy the ca.olf file into the CA_LIC (ca_lic) directory.

How to check the status of your license

Use the LICENSESTATUS cli command: log into the CAWA DE server via CAWA Desktop Client and run the command in the CLI perspective.
