License File

11.1 = license.cyb file into the .../Resources/License directory of the dSeries installation. If you have a temporary license then the masteerkey.cyb file  must  be copied into the same directory as well.

Note that while first time starting with a temporary license, dSeries 11.1 adds the data of the masterkey.cyb file into the License.cyb file and deletes the masterkey.cyb.

11.3 = ca.olf file

  • Windows: C:\CA_LIC or C:\Program Files\CA\SharedComponents\CA_LIC

  • Unix/Linux/Mac: /opt/CA/ca_lic or /opt/CA/SharedComponents/ca_lic

NB. The license files for any version should be obtained from the CA Licensing group

How to apply the ca.olf License file

What if you do not have a ca_lic directory?

Run the <dSerires installation directory>\ca_license_bin\ca_lic_ia_install.bat (or ca_lic_ia_install.sh)

This batch (script) file creates the program files \CA\SharedComponents\CA_LIC (or /ca_lic) directory.

Then copy the ca.olf file into the CA_LIC (ca_lic) directory.

How to check the status of your license

Use the LICENSESTATUS cli command: log into the CAWA DE server via CAWA Desktop Client and run the command in the CLI perspective.
