License Manager restart error

Issue:

After updating my license and restarting the license manager from command line, I get the following error:

 

Attachments: license.dat

Starting license manager.

rm: cannot unlink entry "H:/ca/ehealth/eh62/lmgr/license.log": The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

 

Environment:

eHealth (All supported versions)

All platforms

 

Solution:

Windows: Please stop and start the FLEXlm License Server process from the Services window; this way you will be prompted to stop TrapExploder since this service uses the license file. Please note you will not be asked to restart TrapExploder, you will need to remember to do this yourself.

 

Solaris/Linux: Stop and start the license server process with the following commands:

 

lmgr stop

lmgr start
