License in 'Not completed' state although Agile Designer is launchable

Issue:

The status of the license says “Not completed” in the CodeMeter WebDepot, although it shows as “License Activated” in Codemeter Control Center, and we are able to launch the Agile Designer tool. 

Environment:
CA Agile Requirements Designer (ARD)- Agile Designer
Cause:

In general, the license will show as 'Completed' in the CodeMeter License Central WebDepot. However, it is okay if it shows a status of 'Not completed' if you are still able to launch Agile Designer. This is a cosmetic issue on Wibu Systems' WebDepot site. 

Resolution:

You can check to see if your license is actually in the 'completed' state by doing the following:

Launch CodeMeter Control Center and make sure it has a status of 'License Activated'. 

  1. Launch CodeMeter Control Center. The default location for this is C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin.
  2. In the 'License' tab, click on the 'AgileDesigner' license container.
  3. In the right-hand panel, under 'Status', make sure you see the 'License activated' text.

Launch Agile Designer.

  1. Launch Agile Designer by double clicking on the icon on your desktop or executing AgileDesigner.exe. The default location for that is C:\Program Files\Grid-Tools\AgileDesigner. 
  2. If you are able to open ARD and use it, then your license was activated successfully.
