After upgrading Workload Automation DE environment from 11.3.3 to 12.1, upon startup, alerts are being received indicating "Can't open license file. Please run the appropriate license program to properly license your product."
Do we need to obtain a new license file or will the migration utility move the existing license to the new server?
The migration utility will not include migrating the license file. Customers should create a backup copy of the existing license file (ca.olf) on the server and then copy it back into place. The location of said license file (ca.olf) is as follows.
On Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SharedComponents\CA_LIC
On UNIX/Linux: /opt/CA/SharedComponents/ca_lic
