Question:

How can I remove myself from a flow in CA Flowdock?

Answer:

A user can remove themselves from a both an "open" flow or an "invitation-only" flow in CA Flowdock.

Open Flow

If you want to remove yourself from an Open Flow (any user can join without an invitation) follow these directions:

  1. Select the Flow from the menu on the left
  2. Select the 3 dots icon next to the Flow name

  3. Select the 'Close' option from the drop down menu

Invitation-Only Flow

If the flow is Invitation Only use these steps:

  1. Select the Flow from the left menu
  2. Click on the 3 Dots icon

  3. Select Settings
  4. Scroll to the "Flow Members" section
  5. Scroll down to your name and click on your name.  You will see "Remove User" button in red on the right hand side.
  6. Click on the Remove User button and you will remove yourself from the Flow.

    Additional Information:

    To find out what type of flow you are participating in you can view the settings simply by:

    1. Select the Flow from the left (black) menu 
    2. Select the 3 dots icon next to the Flow name

    4. Scroll to the "Flow access mode" section and verify the mode is open or invite only.
