LDAP user unable to login when synchronized by non-LDAP user

When a non-LDAP user clicks on the 'Synchronize' button for an LDAP user in client 0, a stack trace pop-up error occurs:

The LDAP user being synchronized will now be unable to log in to the Automic Web Interface (AWI) with a "Logon: Access Denied" error.

This issue has been identified as a bug and will be fixed in the following versions:
Automic Web Interface 12.2.0 – Available

  1. Open the user from Client 0.
  2. Unselect the LDAP connection box and save the user.
  3. Re-select the LDAP connection box and save the user.
The user can now log in.
