"Last Successful Poll" field is blank in Spectrum OneClick Component Details (Legacy KB ID CNC TS33753 )

This will be addressed in Spectrum 9.2. The value will be written to the SSdb and restored on SpectroSERVER restart for device models. It may still be blank for models of other types, like interfaces and applications. This indicates the model hasn't been successfully polled since it was created, or since the SpectroSERVER was restarted, and should be checked on the parent device .

Problem Environment:
SPECTRUM 9.x

Causes of this problem:
This can be caused by SpectroSERVER restart , which is currently FAD. We can improve on the way this works by adding the database flag to
this attribute for the Device ModelType. There will be a very small performance hit for this, but limiting it to Device will minimize it to be negligable. It will record this
value only for devices, or models derived from device, rather than for all models in the db. This leaves a gap in reporting for the UI, so we can add a

tool tip for this field that explains what the potential causes for a blank value are, and points them to look at the value on the related device model,

if they're looking at it on a child model of the device model.
