Question:

The Scheduler encountered an EVT_HDLR_ERROR when processing the STARTJOB event for a scheduled job. The job failed to start and will now no longer run at its scheduled time. What can be done to get the job back on schedule?

Answer:

From the command line, execute the jil command. At the first jil prompt, enter "update_job: <job_name>" and press enter. On the second jil prompt, type exit and press enter. You will see messages showing that the job is now rescheduled to start at its next available start time.
