When trying to upgrade/install Jaspersoft the install script goes through a verification and fails with an ORA-01017 error user name and password invalid
All supported environments using Oracle.
This is due to a known Progress Software issue with the third-party JDBC driver provided, issue PSC00294082.
This issue is being tracked by CA Sustaining Engineering as CLRT-79361.
CLRT-79361 is in review with our Sustaining Engineering team.
- Navigate to %jaspersoft-folder%/libs/c-oracle.jar file
- Replace the c-oracle.jar from CA PPM $clarity/lib or $install/checkinstall/tools/lib (both driver files should be for versions 14.2 and higher)
- Rerun the Install/Upgrade of Jaspersoft
