Issue: 

Invalid username error received when integrating JasperSoft (CABI 6.1) and Spectrum Report Manager (SRM).

Environment:  

Spectrum 10.1.1

Cause: 

By default when JasperSoft is installed the user account superuser with a password of superuser is created. These are the default username and password used in the JasperSoft integration screen. The error being encountered is not always in regards to the username. In fact, many times it has had to do with the hostname specified in the JasperSoft integration screen and not the user specified.

Resolution/Workaround:

1. Verify the hostname/ip address of the JasperSoft Server is accessible to the SRM Server.

2. If the JasperSoft server hostname was defined as Fully Qualified (with the domain name) use the Fully Qualified Domain Name.
