Japanese IME does not work at PROXY mode on Japanese Windows OS

Introduction:

 CA Privileged Identity Manager(a.k.a CA PIM) r12.9 for SAM can access to Windows Endpoint via proxy mode.

 User cannot change IME by specific key stroke, Alt+Kanji(half/Wide) while user is connecting on Japanese Windows OS machine.

 So, user should toggle IME mode by select by mouse at each login to the machine via proxy mode.

 

Background: 

 This behavior is from limitation of Guacamole which is 3rd party application to access remote machine via HTML 5.
 

 

 

Environment: 

 Enterprise Management Server side:
   OS: Windows all which supported by CA PIM
   Product: CA Privileged Identity Manager r12.9 SP1 or SP2.
 
 Endpoint Side:
    OS: Windows all with Japanese OS.
 

Instructions: 

 User has 2 scenario to enable Alt+Kanji key.
 a) Using submenu for text input mode:
    1. push Ctrl+Alt+Shift key.
    2. Appeared submenu and select "Text Input" in Input Method.
    3. close sub menu.
    When user select text input application, such as notepad, sub text input window is appeared bottom of screen.
    User can type into this sub window for Japanese.
 
 b) Apply test fix,T6CQ008.
    1. get T6CQ008 from our support team.
    2. apply T6CQ008 along with readme.
 
    This testfix, T6CQ008, is working on Windows end point only.
    If user need to use this key stroke on Unix access,  please apply above scenario a.
