Issue:
Unable to import devices from ITCM. The 400_itcm_devices job ran successfully last night, and there were 17 devices found, and 17 errors related to the import_org_level_2_id field in the log file. Can you tell me what could have occurred to cause this error?
Environment:
Ca Software Asset Manager, any release level
Cause:
The 400_itcm_devices.XML file had an incorrect value specified for the import_org_level_2_id (cost center) in its' select statement.
Resolution:
The new 400_itcm_devices XML needed to be modified so that the 'Unknown' value was changed to the actual import id number of the 'Unknown' cost center in SAM.

Steps to resolve:
1.  In SAM, navigate to view the list of available cost centers.  Modify the view to include the 'import ID' value.
2.  Modify the 400_itcm_devices.XML select statement, so that it uses the 'import ID' value you wish to use, and not the cost center name.
For example:
SELECT LOWER(dh.host_name) AS import_id,
            'ftb_itcm' AS import_data_source_id,
            LOWER(dh.host_name) device_key,
            'Unknown' AS import_org_level_2_id,
change this to read:
SELECT LOWER(dh.host_name) AS import_id,
            'ftb_itcm' AS import_data_source_id,
            LOWER(dh.host_name) device_key,
'100002' AS import_org_level_2_id, (where 100002 is the cost center import id).
