Question:
Is there any risk in disabling SSLv3 for SQL on port 1433 or will disabling it break CA Privileged Identity Manager
Environment:
CA PIM 12.X and 14.X
Answer:
SSL V3 is not used to connect to the SQL RDBMS. Only in FIPS Regular mode do we use SSL V3 for client/server communication (shared password between ENTM and EP). Therefore, SSL v3 can be safely disabled at the SQL server without risk of breaking CA PIM
