Question:

Is there a way to restart a package that has failed with PKMR514E message?

Answer:

The PKMR514E message is stating the element in question was generated after the package had been cast and could effect the integrity of the package.

But there is a way to bypass the PKMR514E message and execute the package.

In the Endevor ENCOPTBL table located in the Endevor.CSIQSRC library is the following option:

***********************************************************************
*  O001279
*   THIS OPTION WILL ALLOW THE EXECUTION OF A PACKAGE THAT CONTAINS
*   A GENERATE OF AN ELEMENT THAT MAY HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY GENERATED
*   IN ANOTHER PACKAGE.
*
*---------------------------------------------------------------------*
*        ENHOPT BYPASS_PKMR514E=ON

Uncomment this option and re-assemble the ENCOPTBL and one will be able to execute the package.
