Is there a way to hide comments displayed under 'Comments' section of a Knowledge Document?

Introduction:

Out-of-the-box, once users add their comments to a Knowledge Document, all Comments are displayed under 'Comments' section of the document as shown below. You may prefer to hide them from public view.

Question:

How to hide comments displayed under 'Comments' section of the Knowledge Document? 

Answer:

In order to hide all Comments displayed under Comments section of the Knowledge Document, please follow the below steps.

  1. Log into Service Desk Manager (SDM) using a SDM privilege account and open 'Administration' tab.

  2. Go to 'Knowledge' > 'Documents' > 'Document Settings'.

  3. Select "Allow comment submission but not comment viewing" and click <Save> to save the change.

If you change the setting to "... not comment viewing", the Comments can be seen on 'Comments and Notification' > 'Comments' tab of the Knowledge Document opened in admin mode.
