Question:

I am trying to find a way to count the number of WSS connections I have with the INET DISPLAY ACTIVE command. Do I count the READ/WRITE that is for the same IP address as one connection?

Answer:

When a user logs on to workstation there are 2 connections per workstation user.

the list of the open connections of ESPWSS could be independently
verified at any time by issuing the following TSO command:

NETSTAT CO (CLI stcname       STCNAME is your Workstation Server Started Task Name

EXAMPLE:

NETSTAT CO (CLI ESPWSS

MVS TCP/IP NETSTAT CS V2R2 TCPIP Name: TCPIP32 12:01:52
User Id Conn State
