Is it possible to store properties on ticket templates, so that when a ticket is created with it and a specific area is chosen, it will copy over all the properties for that area to the ticket?
-Templates are stored in the cr_template table
-They point to the ticket they were created from through the template column
-This is a value which points to the call_req table
-The call_req table contains a column called category which links to the prob_ctg table
-Properties link to categories and are stored in the cr_prptpl table
-The values of properties are stored in the cr_prp table which links only to the owning ticket
Given this, the properties do not link to a template but rather the category of the template. So, the values are aware only of one ticket, not the template, therefore OOTB it is not possible for templates to store property values.
