App Synthetic Monitor (ASM) provides a number of reporting options indicating a web sites performance and availability, including public facing status pages. ASM also provides a means to schedule maintenance periods, not included in uptime and availability reporting, to ensure these statistics are accurately presented to end users.
Is it possible to retroactively place a monitor in maintenance mode if forgetting to schedule a maintenance window?
Yes, the CA Support team can assist you in updating monitor results to reflect a maintenance window. Contact the support team via either https://support.ca.com or https://asm.ca.com/en/support.php and provide the following information:
-The name of the monitor that needs to be updated
-The folder that this monitor resides in (if applicable)
-The date and time this monitor should be placed in maintenance mode (Note that all times are assumed to be in the time zone specified in your account preferences.) unless specified otherwise: https://asm.ca.com/en/preferences.php)
