Is it possible to change the default yellow color of the Special Handling banner that appears on CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) tickets?

Solution

There is no out-of-box mechanism to change the Special Handling Color banner.

This would require a CSS style sheet customization, which is outside the scope of CA Support.

Other clients were able to change the Special Handling banner by modifying the 'analyst_styles.css' file.

Using CA SDM Web Screen Painter (WSP) open the 'analyst_styles.css' file and locate within the file the line that reads as follows: .

alertmsg{BACKGROUND-COLOR:yellow;COLOR:Blue;FONT-FAMILY:Verdana,Arial, helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:1.1em;}

Change the portion that reads: .alertmsg{BACKGROUND-COLOR:yellow;

As always, it is recommended to test any changes in a non-PROD environment first.
