Question:
Hi, we've seen that UNAB start script, /opt/CA/uxauth/lbin/uxauthd.sh, is configured with: chkconfig: 35 89 50. Is possible to make it start sooner?
For example chkconfig: 35 70 50?

We ask this because some applications (on rhel 6.x ) start around level 80 and we would need to have UNAB already up and running by that time.
Answer:
Unlike systemd, System V init does not have the concept of dependencies for its init scripts.
That is why out of the box the start number of the UNAB process is set a high level

There is no problem to adjust the initialisation order of UNAB to your needs, provided the network has already been initialised - so that UNAB can request the initial ticket-granting ticket (TGT) from the Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC) service on a domain controller (DC)
