Using CA CSM to acquire or download a product fails with:
IOException: Connection to https://supportservices.ca.com refused
This might be an indication that you have one of the following conditions:
- A firewall that is blocking the connection
If it is a firewall blocking the connection your sites network administrator needs to add site: supportservices.ca.com
to the firewall to allow the connection.
If your site uses proxies, review your proxy credentials on the
User Settings, Software Acquisition page
Testing your connection
Ensure you specify the correct address and port then click the Test Connection button to test.
Note: If a proxy is not used, CA CSM uses HTTPS Port Number 443 to communicate with CA Support Online website .
