invalid user name and password

Issue:
PAM 4.3.2 CP01 -2 nodes- + Service Desk 14.1 

PROBLEM: 
Unable to login to PAM after restarting one specific node -the other is OK- 
Error message seen is invalid user and password -same user is ok on the other node- 

ENVIRONEMENT: 
PAM was slow and they decided to restart PAM Orchestrator service on both nodes to see if performance would improve 
Resolution:
Had cust stop Orchestrator service and agent service and found several Java processes still cycling in task manager 

Killed all java processes and restarted Orchestrator service and after 3 mins or so, user login was succesfull
