The 9.4 version of CA Spectrum is available for download via the CA Support Online (CSO) site. However some customers may not see it. This document explains where to look and what to do if you are unable to find the download file.
CA Spectrum 9.4 is only available in the "Download Center" on the https://support.ca.com website. Please enter in the product name of "Spectrum" (without the quotes) and select one of the following product selections:
CA Spectrum Device Based Suite
CA Spectrum Device Based Suite - MULTI-PLATFORM
CA Spectrum Device Based Suite Server for IM/II (FOC)
The 9.4 download is NOT available under any other CA Spectrum packages. It is ONLY available under a "Device Based" license.
Under the "Select a Release" area will be an option for 9.4. Please select 9.4 with a "gen level" of 0 (zero) and click the Go button. From this page you can select the Spectrum and/or CABI package you need. When you click the "Download" button, you will be brought to a page where you can use the CA Download Manager or process an order for an ftp link to download the package.
If you do NOT see a CA Spectrum Device Based Suite selection, or you do see it but the 9.4 version is not a selection, please open a ticket with the CA Licensing team here:https://support.ca.com/irj/portal/anonymous/customercare
The 9.4 install is no longer an *.iso file. They are now tarred files. You can use a program such as WinRar to extract them.
Each operating system is in its own file. The Spectrum download is no longer one file with all of the operating systems. This helps to decrease the file size of the download for customers that just need one operating system version.
