In discovery_wizard, some options are not appearing

In USM when I start the discovery wizard under the inventory selection there are no options listed in the windows and I cannot see any of the configured scopes.
This issue was found in UIM 8.51 and discovery_server 8.53, but the information here is generally applicable to most versions of UIM.
Follow these steps to reset the discovery_wizard in USM:
  • disable (ump) wasp
  • disable discovery_server
  • rename or move the directory nimsoft/probes/service/wasp/work folder
  • on the UMP machine clear your browser cache activate discovery_server
  • activate (ump) wasp

Refresh your browser and try the wizard again.

If you still see issues, open a case with Support and include the following:
  • discovery_server.cfg
  • discovery_server.log, _discovery_server.log
  • ppm.cfg
  • ppm.log, _ppm.log
  • wasp.cfg (from ump server)
  • wasp.log, _wasp.log
  • screenshots of any errors, should the appear
