In CA Asset Portfolio Management 14.1, when editing a company record, the division edit box disappears

When editing or creating a new company, after selecting the division lookup icon, the entire division field (label and edit box) disappears.

CA Asset Portfolio Management 14.1

The company type field is required and should be set to 'Internal', when the company will be linked to a Division. 

Enter a company type = Internal, first, and then enter the Division information.
