Introduction:
When we export a report using Advanced Reporting, we typically export files to either the XLS or XLSX output formats so that we can work with them in Microsoft Excel.

However, both of these formats -- paginated and non-paginated versions -- are exported with additional formatting and styling that we do not use when working with the exported reports.
Question:
How can we export the reports so that they contain the data only (i.e. without the additional formatting)?
Environment:
PPM environments that utilize Advanced Reporting.
Answer:
Paginated and non-paginated files just indicate whether or not the data should be separated into several pages, if the data set is large enough -- it would not impact formatting.

To have reports exported without the additional formatting and styling present in the XLS/XLSX output formats, they should be exported as CSV. This will contain the data only, including the headers, columns, and rows.
