In some environments ImportDriver.exe may fail to import data from CA SAM to APM and return a timeout error in the log, this is more likely to occur when CA SAM and APM are installed on separate servers.
The below error will be logged in ImportDriver.log:
FATAL CA.Applications.ImportDriver.Program- GetFilesFromServer() error: The request channel timed out attempting to send after 00:01:00.
Provided you have already tried increasing the timeout threshold as per instructions from the error message and the timeout issue persists you will need to perform the following changes:
- Edit ImportDriver.exe.config:
- Locate the key 'transferMode' and modify its value
