The CA DB2 Post Install Tailoring for DB2 for z/OS (INS) ssid0000 Compare job is failing with message:

ERROR DESCRIPTION: IEC141I

An OPEN macro instruction was issued for a partitioned data set. The

DSNAME parameter specified a member that could not be found.

Answer:

If message IEC141I 013-18 occurs in the DDLCOMP step there is something wrong with DDLIN control statement:

When the ssid0000 Compare JCL is generated via the Post Install panels the DB2EDLIN member should have be populated to CDBASAMP. But it is possibly you are using different datasets and the DB2EDLIN member was actually written to another available hlq.CDBASAMP. So in this case you need to check the dataset allocations within Post Install and regenerate the ssid0000 Compare JCL again for verifying the hlq.CDBASAMP
