Question:

I have new installed Compliance Event Manager 6.0 and I am getting ETLDP41E error during startup CEMELDAP started task, what causes this error?

CEMELDAP joblog shows:

ETLDP41E CA LDAP Server load of module CADCDC32 failed

The "stderr.log" file shows the following message:

Can't load CADCDC32, errno=103501, reason=C4030013.
Dynamic linker error: CEE3501S The module CADCDC32 was not found.

Answer:

The Compliance Event Manager configuration member CEMESLPE in the CUSTOM.CFGLIB library specifies the PATH and LIBPATH statements for CA LDAP Server. ETLDP41E error will occur If the PATH or LIBPATH statements point to the wrong directories.

To address the "ETLDP41E CA LDAP Server load of module CADCDC32 failed" and "CEE3501S The module CADCDC32 was not found." error, verify the PATH and LIBPATH statements in the CEMESLPE member in the CUSTOM.CFGLIB library.

The environment variable LIBPATH must also include the path to the Datacom install 'lib' directory and the path to the directory where the libcci.so shared object resides. Separate LIBPATH components with a colon.

Also be sure that there are no extraneous characters, line numbers or sequence numbers after the LIBPATH and PATH statements.
