When opening the Dashboard, the following error may be observed:

ODBC 1919: error 8: CA_ServiceDesk dsn not found: invalid keyword: value pairs.

This document explains what this error indicates.

Solution:

Dashboard installs and requires an ODBC data source called CA_ServiceDesk.

If you are customizing dashboard and setting up your own data source, that is fine, but the CA_ServiceDesk data source must remain for the dashboard to function.

If the CA_ServiceDesk data source is deleted, the dashboard will return this error regardless of whether your views are using this data source or not.
