I am trying to display an IDEAL program and receive error message:
ICEDITOR01E - PROCEDURE not found
The problem can be caused by a corrupt index in the VLS source library containing the programs. You can confirm this by running a VLSUTIL BACKUP on the VLS library.
If the index is corrupt you will get errors like this:
MEMBER NAME IN THE INDEX IS OUT OF SEQUENCE AND HAS BEEN SKIPPED. NAME IS nnnnnnnnnnnn nnnnn
There are 2 options to recover the corrupt VLS library:
1 - To fix the corrupt VLS index run a VLSUTIL BACKUP, FORMAT and RESTORE on the VLS library. For any missing members, you will need to find them in a previous backup and do a VLSUTIL SELREST.
2 - Run a VLSUTIL FORMAT and RESTORE all members from a good previous backup.
Sample JCL for running VLSUTIL is in member VQNEW01 (for 15.0) or VQNEW02 (for 14.0) in the IPC INSTJCL library.
