Question:

I am running the CAUNZIP for the Compliance Event Manager 6.0 ESD Unified Install and getting  GIM69208S, GIM23413S and GIM20501I messages, what can cause the following errors?

GIM69208S ** GIMUNZIP PROCESSING HAS FAILED BECAUSE THE LEVEL OF PROGRAM GIMJVCLT (35.61) IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE LEVEL OF THE SMP/E CALLING PROGRAM GIMUNZIP (36.75).

GIM23413S ** GIMUNZIP PROCESSING HAS FAILED. DATA INTEGRITY VERIFICATION CAN NOT BE PERFORMED BECAUSE ICSF IS NOT AVAILABLE AND AN ATTEMPT TO USE AN ALTERNATE SERVICE HAS FAILED.

GIM47800S ** AN ERROR OCCURRED WHILE GIMUNZIP WAS PROCESSING ARCHIVE cacem.

GIM20501I    GIMUNZIP PROCESSING IS COMPLETE. THE HIGHEST RETURN CODE WAS 12.

Answer:

Change HASH=YES to HASH=NO in the parm field of the EXEC PGM=GIMUNZIP card which will remove the need for a SMPCPATH DD statement. If HASH=NO is set then there will be no additional hash value checking. We advise that you do use the HASH=YES parameter for an additional validation check.

For example:

//STEP1 EXEC PGM=GIMUNZIP,REGION=0M,PARM='HASH=NO'
