Problem

  • I am getting the following error when trying to log in to DSM Explorer using LDAP credentials:


The specified operation has expired. The timeout is usually a client supplied value. [CMM208908].

Environment

  • Client Automation 12.5 SP1, 12.8, 12.9.

Cause

  • The most likely cause for this problem to occur is that the needed ports are not open.

Resolution

  • In order to solve the problem, please make sure that the following ports are opened:

LDAP port : 389
Secure LDAP port : 636
Global Catalog port: 3268
Secure Global catalog: 3269
